Gdr Architects

Our office is over in Anna Nagar at Chendur Apartments on 6th Avenue. We are right near the CSI Immanuel Church, so it is easy to find for most folks. We have been doing architecture work for a while now, mostly focusing on residential buildings and small offices around Chennai. It is just a small team of us sitting around desks covered in blueprints and site notes. We do not really do the whole corporate pitch thing because our work usually speaks for itself when people see the buildings we have helped put up. Architecture is a lot of back and forth with contractors and making sure the measurements are right on the first try. We spend a lot of time on-site too, getting our shoes dusty and making sure the walls are going up where they should. Being in Anna Nagar means we get a lot of locals dropping in with ideas for their new homes. We listen, draw some sketches, and see what is possible with the budget they have. It isn't always glamorous, and there is a lot of paperwork with the city, but it is what we know. We try to keep things practical. If a design does not make sense for a family, we will say so. There is no point in building something that does not work for the people living there. Drop by the office if you are near the 6th Avenue area, we are usually around unless we are out at a site.
