G Wood Works

At G Wood Works, we spend our time working with our hands at our shop on Anna Main Road. We are located at 3/141 in Kolapakkam. If you are looking for us, we are near Samiar Kulam and the Kcr Garden. The smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere in our place. We do a lot of wood cutting, sanding, and fixing things up. It’s a dusty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We aren't a big factory or anything. It's just a local workshop where we take on various wood projects that come our way. People from around Kolapakkam bring us their broken chairs or ask us to make simple things for their homes. We don't have a fancy showroom. We just have our tools and a space to work. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons, so we take breaks under the shade nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a good while and we know the regulars who pass by Anna Main Road every day. We don't bother with a lot of advertising. Most people just see us working or hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s honest work and we like seeing a piece of wood turn into something useful. We just get on with it and try to do right by the wood and the people we serve.
