G-Tech Engineering

G-Tech Engineering sits at No:18/21-A on Kalidasar Street. We are in the Ramapuram area of Ambattur, which is a busy part of town for this kind of work. The shop is tucked away on the street, so you have to look for the number 18/21-A. It’s a practical space. We don't have any fancy decorations or leather chairs. Mostly it is just workbenches, tools, and the parts we are currently working on. Ambattur has a lot of industrial activity, so we fit right in with the neighbors. We start early most mornings before the sun gets too high. It can get pretty humid in the shop, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We deal with various engineering bits and pieces. Some days are slow, other days we are rushing to finish things up. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We don't write long reports or have big meetings. We just talk about what needs doing over tea and then get to it. The street outside can get a bit crowded with scooters and deliveries. We’ve learned to work around the local rhythm. It is an honest living. We like being in this part of Ramapuram because everything we need is close by. We’ve been at this address for several years now and we've got a good routine going with the local suppliers.
