G E T Power

Our place is G F4 in Krishna Apartments. It is right on Velachery Road in East Tambaram. If you know Chennai, you know how busy that road gets. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to find us without climbing stairs. The office handles power-related things. It’s not a very big space, just a couple of rooms where we keep our equipment and files. The traffic noise from Velachery Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started here because East Tambaram is a good central spot for us. There are always people moving around outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on various projects and keeping track of things. We have a small table for tea breaks and a few shelves that are a bit cluttered with old manuals. It feels like a regular local workplace. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays. Just a small nameplate on the door. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road a bit messy, but we stay dry inside. Most of our work is technical, so there’s a lot of talk about electricity and power systems during the day. We just get on with it and try to stay helpful to whoever calls or stops by. It’s a straightforward operation here in Chennai. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now.
