G. D. Crane

G. D. Crane started a while back and we have been at this same spot for a long time. We sit right at No.136/5 on 200 Feet Road. If you know the Vaikkadu area, you probably know how busy it gets around here in Manali. There are always lots of trucks and heavy stuff moving on the main road. Our spot isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just where we keep the equipment and handle the daily paperwork. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything in the office, but that is just how it goes when you work in this part of town. We spend most of our days out in the yard or checking on the machines to make sure they are okay. 200 Feet Road is always loud with traffic. It is a good spot for G. D. Crane because there is plenty of space for what we do. People usually find us easily enough because of the big gate. There really isn't much to say about the office itself. It is small, mostly just a few desks and chairs where we sit and drink some tea when things get quiet. We see the same faces driving past every day. It is a lot of hard work and grease. The weather in Vaikkadu can be tough, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy around the yard. We just keep going regardless. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just this place on the road and it suits us fine.
