This part of Chennai, 600090, is famous for the beach, but we are just a bit inland from there. The office is a basic building that’s seen a lot of years. We don’t have any of that modern office furniture. Most of our chairs are a bit squeaky. We spend our days here dealing with the usual daily grind. Besant Nagar is a nice area, but it gets very busy on the weekends. Luckily, we are usually gone by then. Our space is functional and nothing more. We have a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. It’s an honest reflection of how much work we do. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We talk to each other across the room and share snacks in the afternoon. The address has changed numbers over the years, which sometimes confuses people, but we’re still the same folks inside. We don't try to sound important. We just stay at No 38 and keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a practical way to run things. The sea breeze sometimes reaches us if the wind is right, which is the best part of being in this neighborhood. We just do our work and head home.
