Our small office is located at 25 TSR Nagar Extension in Thiruvottiyur. It is a bit of a trek for some, but being in this part of Chennai has its own rhythm. We focus on HR services, which means our day is mostly filled with looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. It can be a lot of listening and typing, trying to match the right person with the right spot. The office isn't anything fancy; we have some basic furniture and a couple of computers that we use for everything. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait, which gives us a chance to actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here in the neighborhood. We keep things honest and tell people the truth about the jobs available. The room can get a bit crowded when we have a few people in for interviews, but we make it work. We have a small water cooler and a stack of forms that never seems to get any smaller. It’s a busy little place, but we like the pace of it. We are just regular people trying to help other regular people find a way to earn a living in this city, one interview at a time.
