Our place is at No 7 on 3rd Street, right across from the Dominos Pizza on Dr Radha Krishnan Salai. It’s a busy part of Mylapore, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been running Fresh And Honest Cafe Ltd from this spot for a while now. It’s not a giant corporate space; it’s more of a local hangout where things are a bit more relaxed. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The staff here is small, and we mostly just know everyone who walks through the door by their first name. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up or we run out of a certain snack, but we just deal with it as it happens. We don’t have a massive menu or anything. It’s just simple stuff that people seem to like when they’re taking a break from work or walking around Mylapore. Being near the main road means we get a lot of noise, but inside it’s usually just the sound of the grinder and people talking. We don't put much stock in being the flashiest place on the street. We just want to make sure the doors are open on time and the pots are full. It's a straightforward way to run a cafe, and it seems to suit this neighborhood just fine without being too loud.
