Foodies Kitchen

Foodies Kitchen is located at 24 Cenotaph Road in Teynampet. Some of the older maps still show it as No. 15/17. We are right in the middle of a very busy area. There are offices and cars everywhere outside. We spend most of our time in the back cooking. It’s a small kitchen, and it gets very hot in there. We didn't want a fancy restaurant with a lot of noise and waiters. We just wanted a simple place to prepare food. Teynampet is a good spot because there are always people looking for something to eat during the day. There isn't a big team of chefs or anything like that here. A few of us just know how to get things done in the kitchen. Fancy words aren't really our thing when it comes to describing the food. We simply make what we know how to make well. The building is a bit old, and we’ve had to fix the plumbing several times. It’s not perfect, but it works for what we need to do. We don’t really do any social media or put up posters. People usually find us because they work in the nearby office buildings. We start early in the morning with the prep work and finish quite late. It’s a long day for us. We don't have a big menu, just a few things we do every day. It’s a simple setup on Cenotaph Road. We just keep our heads down and keep the stoves going.
