Working from a flat has its quirks, like making sure we don’t block the stairs when deliveries come in. The neighbors are mostly families, so we keep the noise down. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the usual nameplate. Our team is small, mostly just a few of us who’ve known each other forever. We drink a lot of coffee while we go through the lists and the logistics. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit messy, but that’s just part of living in this part of town. We handle the paperwork and the coordination stuff here. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just answers the door in our shirtsleeves.
