Florida Software Solution

Florida Software Solution is based out of the staff quarters at MMC, specifically at 49/E. It is a bit of a quiet spot, which is actually pretty good for focusing on code and software tasks. We don't have a big corporate sign or a glass building. Instead, it’s a simple room where we keep our systems running. The quarters are old, and you can see the history in the architecture around here. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of typing and the hum of the cooling fans. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors mostly know us as the guys who stay late at their computers. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of hardware to set up, but we manage by moving things around. There’s a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle for coffee and some biscuits. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things that don't always want to work the first time. It isn't always exciting, but it’s the work we do. Living and working in the same general area means there isn't much of a boundary, but we like the convenience. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't wear suits or follow strict schedules like some big city offices. If the weather is nice, we might step outside for a break in the courtyard. It is just a straightforward place where we try to solve software problems one day at a time without any extra trouble.
