We are right on Vepery High Road in Periamet, which is a place that’s always been known for leather and shoes. Our building has two numbers, the new one is 53 but a lot of people still use the old number 26, so it can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers who aren't from around here. Faizan Shoes has been in this spot for quite a while. The building is old and the plumbing acts up sometimes, but it’s home to us. Inside, there is always the sound of hammers and the heavy thud of the press machines. It’s a busy environment and there isn't much room for standing around. We have boxes of soles and leather hides stacked up to the ceiling in the back room. The office is just a small desk in the corner with an old computer that takes forever to start up. We don't really have a lot of visitors, but when we do, they usually just come straight to the back where the work is happening. Periamet is a loud place with lots of traffic and people shouting, and our workshop fits right in with that. We just focus on the shoes and getting them ready for whoever bought them. It’s a lot of physical work and we’re usually pretty tired by the time we lock up for the night. We don't have any fancy slogans, just the work we do every day.
