Our shop is over on 3rd Cross Street in Kottivakkam. We are pretty close to the beach, so you can sometimes catch a bit of a breeze if the wind is right. Being near the water is nice, but the salt in the air can be tough on things. We have been making signs here for some time now. No. B 36 isn't a huge place, but it fits what we need for the work we do. We spend most of our time out back or in the main work area putting things together. It's usually a bit of a mess with bits of metal or plastic lying around. That is just how a sign shop looks when people are actually working. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands and comes over to see what you need. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main city roads. We like it that way. Most people who come to us are locals or businesses from around this part of the coast. We just try to make things that stay put and look clear. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up. The 3rd Cross Street is usually quiet enough that we can hear the birds, which is a nice break from the sound of the drills.
