Our office is located at 27/12 on Sankara Madam Street in Chennai. We are in the 600 011 area, which is a pretty established part of Tamil Nadu. The street can be quite narrow and busy, with all the usual city commotion. We are Expertus Hr Pvt Ltd. We spend most of our time here looking at resumes and talking to people about jobs. It’s not the most exciting work but we find it interesting enough. The building we are in is an older one and the stairs can be a bit of a climb. We don't have a fancy elevator or a big reception area with a fountain. It’s just us sitting at our desks with the fans going full blast to beat the humidity. Chennai is always warm, so we’ve learned to work around the heat. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy and we have to wait for things to load. We aren't a big corporate machine; we are just a small group of people trying to help other people find work. We know the local tea stall very well and that’s where we go for our breaks. The office is a bit cluttered with files and old notebooks. We don't use a lot of fancy business talk. We just try to be honest with the people we talk to and get the placements right. It’s a busy life on Sankara Madam Street in Chennai.
