Expertus Hr Pvt Ltd is tucked away on the first floor of a building in Nungambakkam. We’re in the front portion of No 11 on Gangadharmudali Street. If you’ve ever tried to park in Nungambakkam, you know it’s a bit of a squeeze. Our office is pretty simple. We handle HR things, which mostly involves talking to people and checking through documents. It’s not the kind of place with a big shiny lobby. We have a few rooms where we conduct interviews and handle the daily admin stuff. The staff here has been around for quite a while. We know each other well, which makes the days go by faster. We usually have the radio on low in the background. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails, honestly. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a lot, but we have the AC going. We don’t try to act like we’re some big global firm. We’re just a team working out of this Nungambakkam spot. We’ve got a small tea stall nearby where we all go for our afternoon break. It’s a good way to step away from the desks for a minute. Most people who come here are looking for advice or a new job path. We just sit down with them and see what we can do. It’s practical work, and we try to keep it that way without any unnecessary fuss. We are just here doing our job in the middle of the city.
