Our office is tucked away on the 7th floor of the Gee Gee Emerald building on Village Road. Being in Nungambakkam means there’s always traffic outside, but it’s a good spot once you get inside. We spend most of our time at Expeditors International (I) Pvt. Ltd. keeping track of where things are going and making sure paperwork stays organized. It's mostly phones ringing and people staring at screens to keep things moving. The elevator sometimes takes a bit of time to reach the seventh floor, but the view of the street below is alright when you need a break. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other’s names. It’s not one of those huge, cold offices. We keep things pretty simple. Mostly, we’re just dealing with logistics and the various headaches that come with moving goods from one place to another. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a shipment gets delayed somewhere. We just sit down and figure it out. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right. Coffee is usually brewing in the corner, and that keeps us going through the long afternoons. If you need to find us, just head to 151 Village Road and head up. It’s a busy building but quiet enough for us to get our work done. We’ve been here for a bit now and it feels like a second home to most of us.
