Our place is located at No 45 on Arcot Road in Virugambakkam. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this road gets with all the traffic and shops. We’ve been operating Events Talk from this spot for some time now. It’s a small office but it works for us. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We spend most of our time on the phone or sitting around the table figuring out how to set things up for the next client. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we are out on the field more than we are in the office. Every day is a bit different. One day we are worrying about flower arrangements and the next it’s about where to put the stage. We try to keep things simple. People in Virugambakkam usually find us by word of mouth. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the city. We just want to make sure the events we handle go off without too many problems. It can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We like being right here on Arcot Road because it’s easy for people to find us even if the parking is a bit of a headache sometimes. It is just a regular local business.
