Vepery is a crowded place, especially around E V K Sampath Road. Our office is on the first floor of the Anaikar Abdul Shukoor Avenue building. It is right near the Spencers Daily, which is handy when we need to grab some snacks or a drink during a long day. We have been here for a bit now, managing different kinds of events. The space is filled with files, old folders, and some sample materials from past jobs. It is not one of those sleek offices you see in magazines. We have some fans that stay on all day because the Chennai heat does not really let up. Most of the time, the team is busy making calls or trying to track down vendors who are running late. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes it is a bit chaotic, but that is just how this business is. We handle everything from the small stuff to the bigger logistical things that people do not usually see. People walk up the stairs and usually find us huddled around a computer screen looking at floor plans. It is a practical workspace for practical people. We do not spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty inside the office because we are too focused on the actual work outside. Vepery keeps us on our toes with the traffic and the noise, but we like being in the middle of it.
