Event Co Ordinator

Setting things up on Savarimuthu Street in Mannady isn't always easy, especially with how crowded Chennai gets. We’re at No 29, which is a busy little area where something is always happening outside the door. Being an Event Co Ordinator means we spend a lot of time on the phone or running around trying to find where the delivery truck went. The office is mostly filled with files, old notebooks, and leftover decorations from the last job we did. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. Mannady has a specific feel to it, very old-school and loud, which keeps us on our toes. We don’t really do the whole corporate office thing. We just have a few desks and a lot of coffee. Usually, the day starts early because the heat gets bad by noon. We’ve got to coordinate everything from chairs to lighting, and things rarely go exactly as planned, but we figure it out. It’s just how it goes in this business. My desk is covered in sticky notes because my memory isn’t what it used to be. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors know us. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our sign, though it’s a bit faded from the sun. We spend more time out at venues than we do sitting here, but this is where the planning happens. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy every day.
