Miltex India

Miltex India is based out of the Chesney Town House, which is at number 72 on Ethiraj Salai. Most people still call it C-in-C Road, even though the name changed a while back. This is a very old and established part of the city, with lots of trees and big old buildings around us. Our office is inside the townhouse complex, and it has that classic feel to it with thick walls and high ceilings. We spend our days handling the various bits of business that come our way, mostly dealing with textiles and supplies. It is not a retail shop, so we don't have people walking in off the street all the time. It is mostly phone calls, emails, and moving boxes around when shipments arrive. The traffic on Ethiraj Salai can be quite loud, especially when there are events at the nearby colleges or hotels, but inside the townhouse, it stays relatively calm. We have a small team here, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits well. We usually eat our lunch together in the small pantry area. There isn't anything fancy about how we operate; we just make sure the orders are right and the paperwork is filed. It is a steady way to spend the day in a very historic part of town. We like being on this road because everything is close by.
