Esses Engineers

Esses Engineers has been operating out of No.87/3 Mettu Street in Athiepet for a good while. Ambattur is a real hub for engineering work, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops and factories around here. It’s noisy and dusty most of the time, but that’s just how an industrial area in Chennai feels. Our shop is simple. We have our tools and our workspace, and we spend most of the day getting our hands dirty. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, dealing with whatever engineering problem is on the bench that day. The heat in Chennai 58 can be pretty intense, especially in May, so we have a couple of old fans that we keep running non-stop. We get a lot of regulars who know us from the neighborhood. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people just find us because they heard we do decent work on Mettu Street. We try to be honest about how long a job will take and what it will cost. Sometimes we are behind schedule because a machine breaks or parts don't arrive on time, but we always try to make it right eventually. It’s just us doing what we can in this busy part of the city. We don't make big promises, we just try to fix things as they come in.
