Eskimo Leather Exports

You can find us over at No.109 on Maddox Street in the Choolai area. We’ve been running Eskimo Leather Exports from this location for quite some time. The building is a standard one for this neighborhood, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of leather goods ready to be shipped out. We deal with exports, so there’s always a lot of talk about shipping dates and customs forms. It’s a lot of logistical work that keeps us on our toes. The street can be quite noisy with the local vendors and the traffic, especially in the afternoons. Our office is a bit cluttered because we try to keep everything we need within reach. We have these old wooden desks that have been with us since the start. They’ve seen a lot of coffee spills and pen marks over the years. We aren't really the type to worry about having a polished image. We just want to make sure the leather products get where they need to go. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and we spend the whole afternoon just filing things away. It’s a steady kind of job. We know most of the neighbors on Maddox Street by name. It feels like a real community here. We just show up, do the work, and head home when it’s done. There is always something else to do tomorrow anyway.
