Ernst Young

We’ve been set up here at Jayam Apartments for a while now. It’s on 2nd Main Road in Laxmin Nagar, right in the Porur part of Chennai. Most people know the area pretty well. We are in 27 D. It's not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular spot where the Ernst Young team gets our work done every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days the traffic on the main road is a headache, but that’s just life in this part of town. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a decent place to be located because everything you need is close by. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing here. It's just a few of us handling things from this office. If you're looking for us, we are easy enough to find if you know the landmark. Living and working in Chennai has its ups and downs with the weather and all, but we manage. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just show up, do what needs doing, and go home. The office isn't huge but it fits what we need for now. We like being in Porur because it feels more like a community than just a business district. It’s quiet enough for us to think. That's about it really. Just a local team doing our bit from the second floor.
