Sri Solai Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at number 16 Mahatma Avenue, right on the Manali Express Road in Ernavoor. It is a loud place. Between the welding and the cutting of metal, there is always some noise going on. Sri Solai Engineering Works has been around this area for a while now. We do a lot of fabrication and repair jobs for local businesses. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and dust, but that is just how an engineering shop looks. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the space. My guys are used to the heat and the sparks. We work long hours when there is a big project to finish. Sometimes we take on small jobs like fixing a gate or a frame because the neighbors ask us. The Manali Express Road is always busy with trucks, so it is never quiet outside either. We drink our tea standing up near the entrance. We do not have a fancy reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they just walk into the shop and find one of us. It is straightforward work. We take the measurements, cut the steel, and weld it together. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just build things out of metal and try to make sure they are sturdy enough to last. It is just honest engineering work done by hand.
