We've been here on Nungambakkam High Road for a while now. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this stretch gets. Our office at number 80 is usually full of chairs and desks being moved around. It's not a fancy showroom with spotlights, just a place where we keep the ergonomic stuff we sell. Most days, the staff is busy answering phones or helping someone who walked in because their back hurts from a bad office chair. We spend a lot of time putting things together and making sure the wheels on the chairs actually roll like they should. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always on high. People come in, sit in five different chairs, and then talk to us about what they need for their home office or a big corporate floor. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s mostly just us handling the inventory and making sure deliveries go out to the right parts of the city. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout over the phone. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Ergomaxx India P. Ltd. is about honest work, mostly dealing with metal frames and mesh fabric. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us. If you’re around the Nungambakkam area, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing flashy, just a regular workplace where we get things done every day.
