House Care

Our place, House Care, is located right on 145 J. N. Road in Koyambedu. Being on the 100 Feet Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by at all hours of the day. We are pretty close to the Arumbakkam Metro Station, so it’s easy for folks to spot us if they are looking. We mostly deal with things people need for their homes, hence the name we have on the board outside. It’s a busy spot and the dust from the road is a constant battle for us. We spend a lot of time just keeping the shop front tidy while helping people who walk in. Koyambedu is always moving, and we are just one small part of that whole scene. The store isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with shelves full of stuff. We open up early and stay until the evening traffic starts to peak. Sometimes people just wander in because they saw the sign while waiting for a bus or the metro. We talk to the neighbors and the delivery guys who come by to drop off new stock. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and keeping track of what is selling. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every single day of the week.
