We've been at No. 3 Sandhanalakshmi Street for a long time now. It's tucked right on the Rajeswarinagar Main Road here in Selaiyur. If you know this specific area in Chennai, you already know it gets pretty busy throughout the day. Our small team at Electrotech Engineers Pvt Ltd usually spends the morning dealing with technical drawings and getting ready for site visits. It is not always a pretty sight in here. Some days the office is a bit of a mess with blueprints and papers spread across every available surface. We mostly focus on getting the actual work done right without making a big fuss or noise about it. We started out as a very small operation and stayed that way for years before things finally picked up. It is a local operation through and through. Most of the people working here live nearby or have a short commute from within the city. The old coffee machine in the corner is usually running non-stop since we all need it to keep going. We do not have a fancy lobby or any of those modern glass partitions. Just some sturdy desks, chairs, and the computers where we do the engineering tasks. People stop by sometimes just to drop off some documents or have a quick chat about a current project. It is a very straightforward kind of place to work. We handle quite a few different requests throughout the week. Sometimes it is very quiet, while other times every single phone is ringing at once. Selaiyur has changed a lot since we first moved in, but our spot stays much the same.
