Om Sakthi Plastic

We are located over at No. 26/30 on Ponnamalle Road in Ekkattuthangal. This area is full of workshops and small factories, and Om Sakthi Plastic is right in the middle of it. It’s a dusty place, to be honest. We have machines running and stacks of plastic goods piled up nearly to the ceiling. You can hear the noise from the road all day long. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll see us working in our shirtsleeves because the machines give off a lot of heat. We make all sorts of things, mostly the everyday items people need. Ekkattuthangal is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the delivery vans to get in and out, even if the traffic on Ponnamalle Road is a nightmare most evenings. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The floor is stained and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s where we do our work. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We grab tea from the same guy every morning. It’s just a regular plastic business. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We just keep the machines going and make sure the orders are ready when they’re supposed to be. It is hard work and the noise never really stops until we close the shutters at night.
