Dhiva Enterprises is our business over at No. 2/7 Vellalar Street. We are in Kuppusamy Nagar, which is part of Senneer Kuppam. It’s mostly a trading business. We buy and sell various goods and supply them to local shops. Our place is basically a big warehouse with a small corner for our desk and computer. It’s not a fancy office. There’s usually dust on the shelves and the floor needs a good sweep. We spend most of our time moving boxes around and checking our inventory. It’s physical work and by the evening we’re usually pretty tired. We’ve been in Senneer Kuppam for a long time and we like the community here. We know the other people on Vellalar Street and we help each other out when needed. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just do our work and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. Sometimes we get the wrong order delivered and it takes a few days to get it sorted, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We use an old ledger for most of our notes because it’s easier than opening the laptop every five minutes. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’re just glad to be running our own show here in Kuppusamy Nagar and we hope to keep it going for many more years to come.
