Merlina Plastic

Merlina Plastic is located over at Thanigai Real Estate. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a business like ours. We have a lot of plastic goods stacked up, from containers to rolls of material. The space is basically a large storage and work area where we manage all the inventory. It’s not a fancy shop with glass windows; it’s more of a practical site where things get loaded and unloaded throughout the day. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the plastic and making sure the orders are right. The area around Thanigai Real Estate is developing, so there’s often some construction noise nearby. Inside our place, it feels a bit like a warehouse. We use a lot of tape and packing material, so that’s usually what you’ll see lying around the workstations. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone like that, just a few of us who know the business well. The light isn't great in the back, so we use handheld torches when we’re looking for something specific on the high shelves. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. Sometimes we sit on the crates for our breaks because there aren't many chairs. We just keep our heads down and get the plastic orders ready for whoever needs them in the local area. It is a simple business that keeps us moving all day long.
