Om Sai Industries

Om Sai Industries is tucked away at No. 2/249- A on Sinnai Aman Koil Street. We are right off the East Coast Road, or ECR as everyone calls it. Being near the road means there’s a lot of traffic passing by, but our little corner stays somewhat quiet compared to the main stretch. The Sinnai Aman Koil is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Our building is pretty basic. It has a heavy metal door and high ceilings to keep the heat out during the afternoons. Inside, the machines take up most of the room. There’s always a low hum going on from the equipment we use for our work. We don’t really have a big sign outside, just a small one that's a bit faded from the sun. Usually, it’s just a few of us here working through the morning. We take a long break when the sun is at its hottest because it gets stuffy inside. The floor is concrete and stays cool underfoot. We handle things as they come in. There isn't a complex system for how we do stuff, just a whiteboard with some notes and a lot of memory. If a customer stops by, they usually just stand by the door because the inside is mostly for the work. It’s a steady life, and we like being out here near the coast and the temple.
