You can find us at No. 29 Parvathypuram in Vadaperumbakkam, which is part of the Madhavaram area. It is an industrial neighborhood, so there are always big trucks moving around and a lot of dust in the air. We work with polymers, so the warehouse is usually filled with large sacks of raw material. It’s a heavy job, and the floor is often covered in bits of plastic and scrap. We have a small corner that we use as an office, but mostly we are out on the floor checking the stock or helping with the loading. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms or anything like that. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the orders moving. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit outside for a while until it comes back on. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the road. The office desk is old and the drawers stick, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. It gets very hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, but we just keep the doors open. We've been at this address for several years now and we know the routine. It is honest work and it keeps us very busy every day.
