Nisco Aegis Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at No. 2/555 A Babu Jegajeevanaram Street in Gerugambakkam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you’re here, it’s a fairly quiet area compared to the city center. We deal with polymers, which means there’s often a bit of a plastic smell and big bags of material sitting around the place. The office is just a small part of the building. Most of the space is taken up by the materials and the equipment we use every day. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a group of people working together to get the orders sorted and out the door. The street outside is usually okay, though it gets quite muddy when it rains. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, but mostly we are looking at our tasks inside. There’s a lot of paperwork that comes with running a polymer business, so someone is always sitting at the old wooden desk filling out forms or checking invoices. We don't have a big corporate team, just the folks who show up and do the work. Gerugambakkam has a lot of small units like ours. We know the neighbors and sometimes share a coffee or talk about the local news during lunch. It’s a practical environment. We don't have fancy brochures. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes doing what needs to be done for the day.
