Most people around Sowcarpet might still remember us as Spic Jel Engg. Ltd., but we’ve been going by Edac Engg. Ltd. for a while now. We are tucked away on Paramananda Mudali Street in Seven Wells. It is a very old part of Chennai, and it gets quite cramped with all the traffic and the narrow lanes. Finding our place at 4/7 can be a bit of a trick if you aren't used to the area. Inside, things are a bit more organized than the street outside suggests. We have been handling engineering tasks for years, through the name change and everything else. The walls are probably due for a fresh coat of paint, but we spend more time on our technical work than decorating the office. It is a practical space for practical people. The noise from the street is just part of the background now. Chennai gets incredibly hot, but we’re used to it. We have our files, our computers, and our team here. We don't do anything fancy with our branding. We just show up at Seven Wells and get the job done. It's a long history we have in this specific spot. Being in Sowcarpet keeps us close to the heart of the old city, which has its own charm despite the dust and the constant noise. We just keep going.
