Eatitude

If you are looking for us, we are down in Velacherry, Chennai. The address is G 1 Rudra, No 18 on 5th Street Extension in Sarathynagar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but it’s a nice enough spot in the 600042 area. We go by the name Eatitude. It’s a small operation here. We don't have a massive staff or anything like that. Most of the time it’s just the sound of things being prepared and the hum of the fridge. Chennai gets incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning is actually doing its job. We’re tucked away in a residential extension, so it’s not like being on a main highway. People who find us usually live or work nearby. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s a regular neighborhood place where we try to keep things organized. Sometimes we run out of something or a delivery is late, and we just have to apologize and move on. It’s the reality of running a small place. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to provide what we do without any fuss. The 5th Street Extension is a quiet place most days, and we like it that way. It gives us time to focus on what we’re making. We keep the counters clean and wait for the next person to walk through the door.
