Ds Arts

Ds Arts is a small place located at 90/40 on Swamy Pandaram Street in Egmore. We have been here for a while and the street has changed a bit over the years, but we are still in the same spot. It’s a busy area and sometimes the traffic makes it a bit hard to get around, but we like being in this part of town. Our workshop is where we do all our creative work. It’s not a gallery or a fancy studio, just a place with tools and materials scattered around where we make things. We do various types of art and sign work depending on what people ask for. Some days are slow and we just work on smaller projects, and other days it feels like everyone needs something at once. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the materials. We use our hands a lot and try to make sure everything looks right before it leaves the shop. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just see our sign on Swamy Pandaram Street and come in to see what we can do. It’s a quiet way to run a business but it works for us. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy throughout the week. It keeps us occupied.
