Our shop is located on Greams Road in the Thousand Lights area, right next to the F4 police station. It’s a handy landmark because everyone knows where it is. We spend most of our time inside checking through old cables and making sure the speakers are working like they should for whoever needs them. It gets pretty loud in here sometimes when we are testing things out, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. The street outside is always busy with traffic and people heading to the offices nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we don't really have any fancy displays or a big showroom. It’s mostly just boxes of gear and mixers sitting on shelves. Some days are quiet and we just sit around cleaning the dust off the equipment, while other days are a bit of a rush with people coming in at the last minute. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done. The morning starts with a tea from the stall down the road and then we open up the shutters. It’s a bit of a messy place with wires everywhere, but we know where everything is. If you’re walking past the police station, you’ll see our door. It’s a basic setup, but it’s what we have and it works for us and the locals who stop by to get their sound fixed.
