Devis Engineering

Devis Engineering is located at 21 Vanagaram Road in Athipet. It’s right on the road, so we get a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and buses. The shop is a basic industrial unit with a high ceiling and a big rolling shutter that we keep open most of the day to let some air in. Inside, it’s mostly tools, workbenches, and whatever project we’re currently working on. We do a lot of general engineering and repair work, the kind of things that require a steady hand and a bit of patience. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we handle the billing and talk to anyone who drops by. Most of our customers are local people or other businesses from around Athipet. We don’t really have a sales team or anything like that. We just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes we’re working on something small, and other times we have a big piece of equipment taking up half the floor. The heat can be pretty intense in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We take our tea together in the morning and try to get the hardest jobs done before the sun gets too high. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been at this spot long enough that the place feels like a second home to all of us. There is always a stray dog or two hanging around.
