We are located in Mylapore at number 18 1, which is also New No 55 on Rajashekaran Street. If you know Chennai, you know Mylapore has a lot of history and character. Our office for Deloitte Haskins Sells fits right into that. It’s an older part of town with narrow streets and lots of activity. You can often hear the bells from the temples or the sound of the traffic nearby. The office itself is quite plain. We have our computers and plenty of space for all the documents we have to manage. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people with their financial records and make sure everything is done correctly. The humidity in Chennai can be a lot, so we are grateful for the fans and the small AC unit we have. We usually start the day with some good filter coffee from the place around the corner. It’s a bit of a ritual for us. People who come to see us are usually from the neighborhood or have been coming here for a long time. We don't do a lot of advertising. The work just comes in and we handle it as it arrives. It is a busy life but a good one. We like being on Rajashekaran Street because it feels like we are in the heart of the city. We just keep working away at our desks until the day is done.
