Deccan Engineers

Deccan Engineers is situated in G-2 of the Santhos Vijay Apartments. The address is New No. 2, Venkatesa Puram in Vadapalani. It’s a bit unusual being in an apartment building, but it works for what we do. We aren't a factory. We do engineering work, mostly planning and small technical jobs. The office is small and filled with papers and drawings. Vadapalani is a crowded place, so finding parking near us can be a headache for anyone visiting. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens. It’s quiet work compared to a machine shop. Sometimes we go out to sites to see how things are being built. We’ve been in this spot for a while. The apartment complex is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down. We know the security guards and the other people living here. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have a big team. Just a few of us who know our way around a blueprint. We handle different types of projects, mostly helping out with the technical details that others don't want to deal with. It’s not a glamorous job. We just make sure the numbers add up and the designs make sense. It’s a steady routine. We come in, do the calculations, and head home. That’s the way we’ve run things for years now and it works for us.
