D R Engineers

D R Engineers is located on Broadway, which is one of those old, narrow parts of Chennai that stays crowded from morning until night. We are on the second floor at New No-206, which used to be No-108. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here for a while and like the location despite the chaos outside. Being in Broadway means everything is close by, even if the streets are packed with people and carts. Our office isn't very large, and it's filled with papers, drawings, and old files. We do engineering work, mostly planning and technical stuff rather than heavy manufacturing. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we have some old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group doing our bit. Most people find us because they’ve worked with us before or someone told them where we were. We don't do much in the way of advertising or social media. We just answer the phone, look at the projects, and try to give honest answers about what can be done. It’s a busy life in a busy part of town. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just wait it out and get back to it. That's just how life is in this part of the city.
