Creative Walls

Our shop is located at No. 947 on Poonamallee High Road, which is right across from the Io Hotel Sudha. If you know this area at all, you know exactly how busy that road gets at almost any hour. We focus on wall coverings and decorations here at Creative Walls. The shop is usually filled with samples of wallpaper and different paint charts scattered around. It is a bit cluttered because we always have new things coming in and old samples we haven't gotten around to throwing away yet. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what they want their rooms to look like. It is interesting work, seeing all the different tastes and ideas people have for their homes. We are not designers with fancy degrees; we just have a good eye for what looks decent on a wall after doing this for so long. The noise from the High Road is constant, but you honestly get used to it after a few weeks. We have a small crew working here. Sometimes we are out at a site helping someone put things up, and other times we are just here waiting for someone to walk in the door. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people seeing the shop while they are stuck in the traffic outside. It is a simple enough business and it keeps us busy through the week.
