Cook Space

Cook Space is located at No.18 / 48 on Kavingar Barathi Dasan Road in Alwarpet. We are quite close to Siet College, so we see a lot of students walking by every day. The road can get pretty jammed up in the evenings, but it’s a good spot to be in. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's mostly just desks, chairs, and some kitchen-related plans pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time talking about layouts and how to make things fit in small spaces. It’s funny because our own office is quite small too. We have a little kettle in the corner for making coffee, which we drink way too much of. The staff here are all local people who have been around this part of Chennai for years. We don't follow any corporate handbooks or have long meetings about missions. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, and we have to jump over puddles to get to the door. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to get the work right so we can go home to our families at the end of the day. Most of the time, the overhead light flickers a bit, but we’ve learned to ignore it while we focus on the designs.
