We’ve been here at 477 in the Sidco Industrial Estate for a while now. Ambattur is a busy place, always something moving. Continental Thermal Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is just our small part of this big industrial area. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot, though in this line of work, the heat is just something we deal with. The workshop has that smell of cut metal and old tea from the morning break. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in through the main gate past the security post. It's noisy around here because of all the other units, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes the power goes, and we just sit outside for a bit until things get moving again. Our address is easy to find if you know Sidco, but first-timers usually have to ask the guy at the corner shop. It’s a practical place. We keep the files in some old metal cabinets and there’s always a stack of drawings on the main table. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls. It’s just where we come to work and handle the thermal engineering stuff that needs doing. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with more buildings going up.
