Colliers International

In Chennai, Colliers International is located over in Kodambakkam. We are at Flat 3 in the Adithya Apartments. The street address is a bit funny because it has both an old number and a new one—Old 23 and New 14 on Gopalamenon Street. This part of Chennai 24 is always busy, especially with all the movie-related stuff that happens in Kodambakkam. Adithya Apartments is a nice, older building that feels a lot more like a home than an office. Being in Flat 3 means we are right there and easy to find once you get inside the gate. Gopalamenon Street is one of those narrow Chennai streets where you have to be careful when two cars are trying to pass each other. We spend our days here in the apartment, which we have converted into our workspace. It is much more comfortable than being in a sterile office park. We have the fans going most of the day because the Chennai heat is no joke, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the neighbors from the other flats stop by to say hello or ask about the mail. It is a very local way of doing things, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Using both the old and new street numbers helps people actually find us, though Google Maps still gets confused occasionally. It is a simple, honest place to work and it fits us well. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done every day.
