Chitralaya Arts

You can find Chitralaya Arts at 93 Periyar Pathai in the Andavar Nagar area of Choolaimedu. This neighborhood is always packed with people and traffic, but it has a good energy to it. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a long time now. It’s a narrow street, but people manage to find us. We mostly focus on our art projects throughout the day. The shop is filled with the smell of paint and materials most of the time. We aren't really into fancy marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just us here, doing the work as it comes in. Choolaimedu is the kind of place where everyone is busy, and we are no different. We spend our hours cutting, painting, and putting things together for the local community. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we make it work. We don’t have a lot of staff, so when you come in, you’re usually talking to the person who is actually going to do the job. We appreciate the people who have been coming to us for years. It’s a straightforward business. We open up in the morning, do our best with the tasks at hand, and close up when the day is done. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of the city. There isn't much else to it besides that. We just do what we know.
