Central Warehousing Corpn.

The warehouse here at 4 North Avenue stays pretty busy throughout the week. Being in Srinagar Colony means we are right in the middle of things in Saidapet. It’s an old building, and you can tell by the way the floors look, but it holds everything we need. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and making sure everything is where it’s supposed to be. Sometimes it gets confusing with so much stock coming in, but we manage to keep a handle on it. The ceiling is high, which helps when the heat gets bad in Chennai. We’ve got a small crew of guys who’ve been here forever. They know every corner of this place. We don’t have much in the way of fancy tech, just some clipboards and a few old fans that creak when they turn. Traffic on the road outside can be a real headache, especially when the big delivery trucks are trying to back in. You can hear the city noise all day long. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. Most of our day is just checking manifests and loading up. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to keep track of all these goods. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the work done before the sun goes down and the gate gets locked. It is just a practical place for storage.
