We have been working from this spot for some time, and the heat in Chennai usually means we have the fans on full blast all day. It is a simple office where we help people find jobs. There is no corporate lobby or fancy reception desk here. You will mostly see us surrounded by folders, resumes, and a few old printers that tend to make a lot of noise. Alwarpet is a busy place, but our street has some nice trees that give a bit of shade. We spend our time talking to people who are looking for work and calling up companies to see who they need. It isn't a complicated business. We just try to match what a person can do with what a company is looking for. Sometimes it is very busy and the phones don't stop ringing, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic on the main road. We usually get our lunch from the small shops nearby and eat at our desks. We don't make big promises or use any polished sales talk.
