Browny Appliances

Browny Appliances is tucked away at No. 1, R.A. Puram. It’s a local spot where we deal with all kinds of household machines. The shop isn’t very large, but we try to keep it organized enough so we can find the tools we need. Working in R.A. Puram is nice because the area has a steady flow of people, though it can get a bit congested during the morning rush. Inside the shop, you’ll usually find us elbows-deep in some appliance that stopped working. There are bits of metal and wire on the workbenches most of the time. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. The walls are lined with shelves holding various spare parts we’ve collected over the years. We spend a lot of our time listening to the hum of different motors to see if they sound right. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, but it’s what we know. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. When the weather is nice, we keep the front door open to let a bit of a breeze in. It feels like a regular part of the neighborhood, just a place where people can bring their broken gear. We don’t go in for anything fancy; we just keep the shop running as best we can. Sometimes the floor needs a good sweep.
