We are located at 32, NH Road in Ponnaiya Rajapuram. Being right on the National Highway means there’s always something happening outside. We deal with food products, mostly storage and moving them to the local shops. The building is an old one, but it’s sturdy and keeps the stock dry. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a large delivery, and the front of the shop gets blocked with crates sometimes. We’ve been running this for a good while now. It started small and just kind of stayed that way, which suits us fine. The staff is mostly people from the neighborhood who can walk to work. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. The noise from the highway is constant, so you have to talk loud to be heard over the trucks. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People know where we are and what we have. Most of our time is spent checking the stock and making sure the dates are good. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the local stores have what they need on their shelves. In the evenings, we sit out front and watch the traffic go by for a bit before closing up and heading home for dinner.
